“We love our German heritage and wearing lederhosen, but only get to celebrate it once a year at Oktoberfest, which Wilderer Distilleries has been hosting for 19 consecutive years,” says owner, Christian Wilderer.

To celebrate this unique German tradition, Wilderer Distilleries is declaring every first Friday of the month Lederhosen Day. And Friday, 3 January 2020, will be no different.
FREE DRINKS
Every guest wearing traditional German clothing at either one of Wilderer Distilleries’ two restaurants at the Spice Route in Paarl, Pappa Grappa or La Grapperia, will get a free drink.

Men wearing lederhosen receive a complimentary 500ml craft beer from the tap. Dolled-up fräulein receive a complimentary Wilderer fynbos gin and tonic.

CELEBRATING GERMAN HERITAGE
Sit in either of the Wilderer restaurants at the Spice Route in Paarl. Choose from indoor or outdoor seating. You may order authentic German cuisine such as kassler, weißwurst, eisbein, soft fresh pretzels and more. Plus, both venues offer a playground and a kids’ menu so bring the family.
