A new fine dining restaurant on the West Coast
Last Update November, 1st 2016
Situated 149 kilometres outside Cape Town, this exquisite niche eatery, headed by Kobus van der Merwe, will satisfy your fine dining cravings in just one ‘Strandveld’ dish.
This sophisticated restaurant seats about 20 diners per sitting, keeping it intimate and quaint, therefore making it perfect for a special occasion. The tasting menu has various elements, some which are freshly picked on the day and others which take weeks of preparation. Having been open since September 2016, it would be amiss not to get a booking for a special occasion or a ‘treat’ meal.

We Love: The menu because it is predominantly seafood based, and is influenced by the surrounding landscape and the weather.
Tip: Bookings are essential, as Kobus only collects the wild, fresh ingredients for confirmed reservations.
Opening Hours: Monday – Tuesday: closed | Wednesday and Saturday: Lunch: 12:30pm | Friday and Saturday: Dinner: 7pm | Sundays: Lunch from 12pm onwards.
The Bill: R595 – R650 p/p
