Sometimes, it’s essential to escape into nature for a while. Let’s be honest; this life is difficult, turbulent, and often, all too busy. So make time to stop the clocks and run away to the Manor House in Melkkamer, where Mother Nature will welcome you with open arms and a healing touch. If nature’s not enough, there’s also yoga – good for the body and excellent for the soul.
The yoga retreat will take place from Thursday, 26, until Sunday, 29 May 2016, at the gorgeous De Hoop Nature Reserve. Vinyasa and Forrest Yoga specialist Kate Ball will guide your practice as you immerse yourself in the serene surroundings of the reserve – a haven for our country’s rich biodiversity.
The retreat will involve daily yoga, along with meditation, guided walks and plenty of time to lie back and watch the stars twinkling brightly in the sky. The mornings will focus on Vinyasa, while the afternoons will be reserved for special, restorative classes aimed at de-stressing the mind. You’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy healthy, locally-sourced meals, because a balanced diet is the key to a balanced self. The Manor House accommodation additionally encourages rejuvenation, with four and five-star en-suite bedrooms set in the peaceful and secluded Melkkamer area, in the midst of the reserve. From stars to self-awareness, this is the ideal journey for anyone seeking to reconnect with their inner eye and the beauty of the world around us.

TICKETS FOR THE 2016 FOREST YOGA RETREAT AT DE HOOP NATURE RESERVE
The retreat costs R4300 per person sharing, and the price includes accommodation, meals and the activities. Bookings can be made via nina@yogaspirit.co.za.
