Opening on Saturday, 19 August 2017 the Winter Life group exhibition, will debut at St Peter’s Church in Fish Hoek. On Monday, 21 August 2017, the exhibition will then transfer to The Studio Art Gallery at Imhoff Farm in Kommetjie.
The exciting, multi-medium exhibition will present works produced by local artists, which were hand picked by curators and gallery directors. Winter Life will give undiscovered artists the chance to show their work to the public, with help from a reputable gallery behind them.

The selection process for this event is incredibly unique. Between Monday, 14 and Wednesday, 16 August 2017, amateur artists will be able to take their best work to St Paul’s Church in Fish Hoek to be judged. From that selection, curators will pick the works that they want to appear in the Winter Life exhibition. Further than that, four very talented artists will then be selected and awarded further representation by the gallery. The lucky artists will receive guidance and mentorship from the gallery’s directors, which is a massive leg up in the art world! Head to the Studio Art Gallery website for more info - Studioartgallery.co.za
The Winter Life exhibition will run until Tuesday, 31 October 2017. Make sure you don’t miss this golden opportunity to get to know another side of the creative scene in Cape Town; the undiscovered. These artists are hungry for feedback and guidance on their work.

On the day of the opening (Saturday, 19 August 2017), St Peter’s Church in Fish Hoek will be overrun with art related activities. Entry to the event is free, and guests will be treated to various workshops, networking opportunities and a ticket draw with loads of prizes so book your spot online, via Studioartgallery.co.za!
