A definition of the perfect summer’s afternoon undoubtedly includes a beautiful setting, delicious snacks and, of course, ice-cold wine and bubbly. We’re in luck because that is exactly what you can look forward to at the Signal Gun Wine Farm in Durbanville on Saturday, 3 February when they present the one-day Rosé and MCC Festival.

Some of the best rosés and MCCs from top estates and farms around the Western Cape will be flowing freely on the day. The following wine estates have confirmed their attendance at the event:
Groot Constantia
D’Aria Winery
Signal Gun Wine Estate
Four Paws Wines
Rickety Bridge Winery
Gabrielskloof Wines
Wildekrans Wine Estate
Vondeling Wines
Org De Rac Organic Wines
L’Avenir

Be sure to taste a blend from every one of these producers (we dare you!) and purchase your favourite to take home and enjoy later. There’s also the option to create a mixed case with all that you loved for delivery at a later stage.
Signal Gun will also be abuzz with food trucks serving tasty treats to keep your tummy from turning. What’s more, craft beer lovers can rejoice because Hoogeberg Brewing Co., Durbanville’s first craft beer brewery, will be there too serving their golden brews. Some hot local bands will be providing the entertainment for the day, adding another layer of fabulous to this festival.
We have the inside scoop on this year's Sun Met. or are you interested in other events happening this February? We also have a list of wine farms open on a Sunday.

Tickets are priced at R220/p, or R320 per couple available at Quicket. All tickets include entry to the event, a stemless wine glass, as well as 10 tasting vouchers.
