The Imperial Russian Ballet Company, presented by Edouard Miasnikov, will be visiting Artscape Theatre between July 15 and 19 for 6 performances only.
It will be their first visit to Cape Town. Various other cities in South Africa will be visited during June 21 and July 19.
Founded in 1994, the Imperial Russian Ballet Company has made a great name for itself. Producing a number of outstanding full-length and mixed ballet performances, The Imperial Russian Ballet features outstanding dancers, exquisite choreography and absolute excellence in all aspects.
This prestigious ballet company has flourished from a small group of stars to a magnificent touring company.
The first half of the programme includes Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana and after interval, scenes and excerpts such as the Don Quixote pas de deux, The Sleeping Beauty pas de deux, Le Corsair pas de deux, Gopak and other masterpieces.
