Mayor and soccer icons to switch on Cape Town's festive Christmas lights

The official switch-on of the festive lights in Adderley Street will offer a kaleidoscope of colour with live entertainment at the Grand Parade, making this one of Cape Town’s largest public open-air events, with tens of thousands of people from all over the province attending this annual celebration. This year's event is scheduled for Sunday, 6 December 2015, with artists, musicians and exact times still to be announced.
