Your winter bucket list at the V&A ...
Aquarium sleepover, cruises, parties, & 10+ food specials
Summertime means lazy sunsets, balmy evenings and plenty of time for a spot of Argentine tango. Slip on those dancing shoes as the popular Summer Tango Series comes to Company’s Garden as part of the One City, Many Culture’s Cape Town Festival on Sunday, 20 March 2016.
Dancers and spectators are invited to join in and see the tango come to life right here in our beautiful city. A real treat for those who love dancing, this shindig encourages beginners, intermediate and advanced students to strut their stuff. There’ll be upbeat tunes from DJ Sylvia Westcott, and the Argentine Tango, Tango Waltz and Milonga will all be danced, so you’ll get a taste of various types of the ‘dance of passion’ against the gorgeous backdrop of the gardens.
Bring a friend or two and experience the magic of this nostalgic expression of movement.
TICKETS AND BOOKINGS FOR THE SUMMER TANGO SERIES IN CAPE TOWN
Entry is FREE! Anyone is welcome to come and watch, and even do a couple of moves. The dancing starts at 2pm and continues until 4pm.
