Celebrate everything decadent in the lovingly relaxing village of Tulbagh this December

Cape Town’s summer will be bubbling and this December will be jam packed with events throughout the Western Cape.

If you are looking to find some unique events taking place out there in that ‘platteland’, we certainly can offer you an excellent little secret event to explore.

Summer Elegance at the House of Krone will be a celebration of everything elegant and deliciously tasty.

There will be sushi & oyster bars, chocolates by Moniki, olives by Groote Vallei, nougat & turkish delight by Rodé and last but definitely not the least, the award winning Krone Méthode Cap Classic Sparkling Wines.

The live entertainment will be the perfect background for viewing the vineyards and majestic mountains whilst sipping on some bubbly.

On show will be a vintage car display as well as, art and sculpture exhibitions by the internationally distinguished artist, Wallace Hulley.

For the ladies, one of South Africa’s rising fashion designers, Luiz DeLaja, who has already showcased his work in Paris and London, will be giving guests a delightful display of his fresh elegant designs.

Younger visitors can enjoy a game of boules, a tractor and trailer ride through the winelands, bounce around on the jumping castle or just enjoy the fresh country air.

The Summer Elegance might just be that perfect reason for a (romantic) Getaway weekend in the Western Cape. The village of Tulbagh is steeped in history.

Location: Tulbagh, Cape Winelands
Cost: R60 per person including a Bubbly flute, bubbly tastings and cellar tours.

Under 18’s must be accompanied by their parents. An entrance fee of R10 per child is applicable.

A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to Steinthal Orphanage.

Advance bookings before 4 December 2008, are eligible for a 10% discount on group bookings of 10 or more.
