Shiraz Showcase at the CTICC

Your cup shall overflow with award-winning varietals at this annual one-day wine tasting extravaganza

Explore the legendary Western Cape viticulture scene and swirl and sip some rich and aromatic red wines from all around this fair province. Founded in 2009, this one night only affair has grown in leaps and bounds.  Back and boozier than ever, the Shiraz Showcase is happening at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) on Tuesday, 21 June 2016.

Brought to the public by Shiraz SA, attendees can rest assured knowing that an abundance of top-notch red wine varietals will be on display. Originally held at the Vineyard Hotel in Claremont, due to the growth and popularity of the event that now boasts around 78 wine producers, it has moved to a more central venue - the CTICC. Relax while sampling an array of Shiraz varieties, and chatting to their proud makers, both old hats and emerging stars. Hungry patrons need not worry as there will be plenty of food stalls with scrumptious nosh on offer to complement the wonderful wines.

Tickets are available online at Webtickets.co.za and at the door. Entry costs R120p/p and includes a glass and brochure. Doors open at 6pm and the event runs until 9pm.
