Princess Boot Camp in Stellenbosch

Even princesses need a little training...

Calling all princesses! Keri Stroebel, a finalist of the Mrs Africa Pageant, is hosting a boot camp to help all royalty of the female variety hone their skills. From Friday,3 to Sunday, 5 February 2017, this intensive workshop will be taking place at Mountain Breeze Resort in Stellenbosch.

This workshop will focus on instilling the principles of sisterhood and women’s empowerment. Manoeuvring through a patriarchal world is a challenge that all women face, and Keri Stroebel (a successful, independent woman) knows all about those struggles. Take some advice from a woman that exists in an industry that (mostly) focuses on appearance, and not intelligence. The beauty queens of the twenty-first century have fought incredibly hard to break that stereotype, and Keri is no exception.

She is dedicated to charity, and focuses on women in need. Her big venture is Dignity Dreams that focuses on providing feminine hygiene products to the over two million female students that miss school because they are menstruating. The Princess Boot Camp will include charity work in the areas surrounding the venue, the Mountain Breeze Resort in Stellenbosch.

The Boot Camp itself spans three days and everything is included in the ticket price. Princesses will focus on pageant and modelling lessons, make-up and fashion tutorials such as how to dress for work and there will also be warrior races with a special emphasis on fitness and health. As mentioned above, there will also be an amount of community work, aiding those in need. This bootcamp is aimed at girls aged 13 to 19.

Tickets are available online via Keristroebel.co.za and will cost R1000p/p. This includes all meals and refreshments, tents and sleeping bags, a lovely goody bag, make-up and fashion lesson supplies and model coaching professionals.
