The Paper Pilots Spring Festival – Food! Fun! Fly!

The Paper Pilots Spring Festival comes to Cape Town these Spring Holidays. A marvellous display of ingenuity and creativity as participants exhibit their homemade flying machines to win great prizes, and the Title of Paper Pilot’s – “Super Fly” of 2011.

Clear your calendar for the 24th and 25th of September 2011 and come and enjoy the food the fun and the spectacle of RC plane and car showdowns.

With just over 70 stand holders, there will be a variety of food options and novel purchases.

Event Entertainment Programme:

Main feature: The “Super Fly” Competition:

Participants will enter their non-mechanically propelled aircraft into the competition.

Over the two event days, each entry will be tested from the runway and into the air and judged by a panel of three judges based on one simple criteria: Distance Travelled.

At 17:00pm -  flight battles will cease and the winners will be announced. The winner of Category One will receive toy gift voucher, the winner of Category Two will receive a voucher for a Helicopter Tour.

RC Plane Clubs:

These clubs will be showcasing all the capabilities of these RC Planes to the delight of the spectators. All other non club RC Plane enthusiasts will also be welcome to fly their own aircraft at the Festival. There will also be RC car racing competition showcase.
