Tickets for kids from R10! And you can bring your own food
Grab your loved ones and head for the much anticipated Carols by Candlelight at Kirstenbosch open-air amphitheatre from Thursday 16 December to Sunday 19 December 2010.
Sing along to traditional Christmas Carols, accompanied by the Cape Town Concert Brass and the Cape Town Male Voice Choir.
This event is a fundraiser for many needy charities across our city, is organised by the Rotary Club of Kirstenbosch and sponsored by Pick n Pay.
The Cape Town Male Voice Choir is a voluntary community-based association and aims to bring the joy of choral music to both its members and audiences alike. They have a varied repertoire, covering a selection of classical, popular, sacred and traditional music styles.
The Cape Town Concert Brass is a collection of amateur musicians - from a variety of professions including engineers, pharmacists, an actuary, a surgeon and accountants - who form a traditional English Brass Band arrangement. Their repertoire varies from classical to jazz to arrangements of popular tunes.
The gates open at 17:00 and the Carols start at 20:00
Entrance fee is R60p/p (R50p/p on 16 Dec) for adults | R40p/c for children (R30p/p on 16 Dec) under 19 years, entrance fee includes a candle and song-sheet.
Tickets are available from the information centres of Pick ‘n Pay stores in the Western Cape, and at Kirstenbosch on the day. (Regret no discount for Botanical Society members or students).
