Get your dancing shoes and flapper dresses out for a fun night of swinging and jiving on the dance floor. Manouche and The Swing Collective will be turning up the heat on Friday, 19 August 2016 at Blah Blah Bar with a collaborative show combining smooth jazz sounds with contemporary tunes.
The city is filled with jazz lovers and this combined performance by two stellar music groups will take classic jazz numbers and mix them up with your favourite songs of today. Manouche, a gypsy jazz band, is collaborating with The Swing Collective, a swing/pop group that takes new pop music and combines it with retro swing classics. Manouche’s countrywide tour is currently underway and The Swing Collective will be playing their newest tunes so this show is guaranteed to be packed with their most popular hits and some great new tracks.
If you need to take a break from all that dancing, cool down with one of the delectable cocktails that Blah Blah Bar has to offer or choose something to eat off the expansive selection of food supplied by Love Pizza, including pizza, salads, tapas and more. Blah Blah Bar is a vibrant and colourful space that showcases the best music performances Cape Town has to offer. If you’re in the mood for folk, jazz, classical or electro music, head down to this hotspot and you’re sure to find something that suits your fancy.
