If the roar of the engine sends a shiver down your spine and the mention of torque brings a tear to your eye then the Killarney Street2Strip should be right up your race course. Ideal for any self-proclaimed speed freak; this event is fast, furious and action-packed. Smell the burning rubber of tyres and watch daredevil acts of driving defiance at the Killarney International Raceway on Friday, 24 April 2015.

Street racing is a passion for many Capetonians and the concept behind Street2Strip is to provide top local street racers with a safe space to strut their stuff behind the wheel. The monthly event is geared at speed enthusiasts with a passion to race and unleash their inner F1 driver (kind of) as well as any spectators eager to see Need for Speed reincarnated. Witness some of the Mother City’s finest racers go head to head in a spate of non-stop quarter mile races.

So if you’re keen to see some racing action with the whole family, bring your folding chairs and racing knowledge for a fun family-friendly night.

TICKETS FOR THE 2015 KILLARNEY STREET2STRIP

Tickets can be bought online at Computicket.com or at Computicket outlets. Entry costs R50p/p and kids under the age of 12 enter for free. Please note, those entering the competition will need to have a valid RSA driver’s license and will have to complete an indemnity form. Racers will also need to have their cars checked for safety measures.
