Check out all the updates for the 2013 K-Day Music Festival.
---
K-day 2012 will take place on Saturday 31 March and is set to be one of the most popular music events of the year - with the first 500 tickets sold out in 12 minutes.
94.5 Kfm have teamed up with Santam to bring you a line-up including some of the biggest local music talent:
"K-Day showcases leading local music acts. It has been sold out every year and this year we are looking forward to an even bigger and better festival with the best of South African music jam packed into one event,” said Ian Bredenkamp, programming manager for 94.5Kfm.
The first seven bands have been confirmed, but listeners should stay tuned to 94.5Kfm as more bands will be added to the line-up which will rock Val die Vie wine estate in Paarl.
K-Day is a great opportunity for families and friends to get out into the sunshine and celebrate everything an awesome Cape summer has to offer – great weather, a stunning outdoor setting and of course – the best local music on offer. Bring a picnic, loads of sunscreen and set up to enjoy all your favourite 94.5 Kfm hits live.
K-Day is extremely child friendly. The kids area will sport a few jumping castles, fun rides and exciting activities for the kids. Missing Children’s SA will be at the entrance of the kids area to assist with re-uniting process should children go missing. They will also be selling R5 armbands to label the kids on the day. This helps for a slicker process.
