Hot Water concert at the Cape Farmhouse

Enjoy an afternoon of African rock with family and friends at the Cape Farmhouse in Scarborough

As part of the Farmhouse rocks series, music lovers can head on down to the sheltered and scenic Cape Farmhouse and enjoy a chilled afternoon listening to the sounds of Hot Water on 21 April 2012.

The band, voted by Men’s Health magazine as the best in South Africa, is renowned for turning up the heat with passionate live performances which incorporate sounds of traditional African music with bluesy and indie-pop rock influences.

As a critic from The Citizen so aptly said, “Hot Water must easily be one of the most exciting music projects to come out of SA. Its concoction of homespun melodies and esoteric clarity makes for a welcome mix of African warmth and Eastern wisdom.”  

Alongside the eclectic tunes, listeners can look forward to meals from the braai and a relaxed atmosphere. There’s a cash bar on-site.
