The River Club |
The Western Cape is widely known as the hub of craft beer and fine wines in our beloved country, so it is only fitting that we have a whole weekend festival dedicated to the amber nectar and fermented grape juice. The Craft Beer Project will host the Hop’n Vine Festival at The River Club from Friday, 31 July to Sunday, 2 August 2015.
This three day craft beer, wine and food pairing extravaganza will quench the thirst of the Mother City’s horde of artisan connoisseurs. You will be able to interact with the expert brewers and vintners as you sip on their delicious beverages, thus becoming part of an elite community of alcohol aficionados.
The festival also aims to highlight the emerging micro brewing industry in South Africa, and to showcase the historic wine culture of the province. Due to the event’s intimate and educational atmosphere, the public will be able to learn about traditional brewing methods and correct food and wine pairings. This insider’s knowledge will ensure that your exquisite roast is complemented by that perfect grape or hop.
Some of the city’s most passionate gourmet chefs will unite with the brewers and wineries to give you the best tasting experience. There will also be an appetising selection of quality foods and non-alcoholic drinks on offer, making the festival fun and family friendly.
If you’re into other awesome foodie fests you may want to check out the Street Food Festival for a great day out with the family.
