Tap into your creativity with Suzzanne Leighton as she teaches the art of creating a Hero Book at the beautiful Casa Labia, Muizenburg, Cape Town on Wednesdays throughout the end of January to the end of February.
The Hero Book is an art and narrative biography group workshop, in which participants rewrite the story of their own lives with themselves as a hero. The workshops are designed to improve your sense of self, well-being and self-esteem and create an illustrated lasting personal history.
It is profound in its simplicity and uses a combination of methods e.g. drawing and colour, talking and writing, movement and reflection. Originally designed by clinical psychologist, Jonathan Morgan, it will improve your sense of self and well-being in a series of workshops that taps into your creativity.
This is a great event for the people of Cape Town that want to tap into their creative site and learn some creative writing.
The course will be held over six sessions of three hours each and costs R2500p/p with payment securing your place.
