Food and Film Fusion

Esteemed foodies, famous food films and a cocktail party

During the month of November Cape Town food-lovers will be salivating over the exciting food-related events at the Freeworld Design Centre in Cape Town. The Freeworld Design Centre in collaboration with Hemelhuijs, local food celebrities and Design Indaba and will be running a delectable series of themed evenings.

Renowned foodies will be introducing the screening of their all-time favourite food movie, accompanied by a meal designed to fit the movie by food artist Jacques Erasmus of Hemelhuijs.

The events will kick off at 6:00pm with sundowners at the Freeworld roofbar, which has panoramic views of the City Bowl and is the perfect spot to wind down after work. The themed meal follows at 6:45pm, and then the personalised foodie introduction and the film at 8:00pm. The movie will be screened in Freeworld’s 98-seater, upmarket auditorium.
