Festival of Bubbles at the Vineyard Hotel

Sip the stars as you enjoy this sparkling affair at a favourite Mother City hotel

“I only drink Champagne when I’m happy and when I’m sad” – Lily Bollinger

If, like Lily, you’re a fan of the beautiful bubbles as remedy for every condition of your soul, you should head to the illustrious Vineyard Hotel for an afternoon of pure sparkles and stars. The Festival of Bubbles is happening on Sunday, 6 March 2016 from 3pm until 6pm.

Described as a highlight on every wine aficionado’s calendar, the starry affair is an annual event that showcases a variety of the Cape’s foremost Methode Cap Classique (MCC) variations. Some of this year’s exhibitors include Simonsig, Villiera, Steenberg and Graham Beck, who’ll make up part of the 18 or so producers featured on the day.

Visitors will have the chance to sample more than 30 sparkling wines, and can also indulge in light canapés whilst delighting in live entertainment and the scenic surrounds of the hotel’s sprawling lawns.
