The annual bike-bonanza is back and it’s returning to Durbanville as per usual. This festival for all the lovers of unicycles with an extra wheel has an event for everyone and every level of fitness. The Durbie Dash is speeding your way on Saturday, 29 October 2016 and it’s being hosted at Durbanville High School on Langenhoven Road. The events start pretty early, so if you’re brave enough to try the most intense race, prepare to start it at 6am.
There will be four mountain biking events and two road biking events, so have a quick look - see which suits you and enter as soon as possible! Only after you’ve entered can you post it on all your social media and just wait for the influx of compliments on your bravery and fitness prowess. (Jokes, everybody hates a boast-post).

Please note that there is a cut off time for all of the bike races at the 2016 Durbie Dash, and that time is noon. All of the races start before 8am, so you have an absolute minimum of four and a half hours (depending on the race you select) to complete the course. Good luck, and take care!
For spectators, there is also some fun to be had. The on-site KFM radio will keep you up to date on the races progress while you have a chance to indulge your appetite with some delicious eats from local cafes and stalls. There will also be a beer and wine tent for those who need alcohol just to dare think about entering a bike race. No judgement, we would be right there with you.
