DHL Stormers VS Emirates Lions Super Rugby Match

The Western Cape warriors go head-to-head with their fellow countrymen from Johannesburg in this rugby showdown

The quest for the coveted title continues as rugby season heats up! Dedicated fans can check out our very own Stormers clashing against the Johannesburg-based Lions at the Newlands Stadium on Saturday, 6 June 2015. Kickoff is at 5:05pm.

The tournament is hurtling towards semi-finals, and the Stormers have no intention of letting the trophy slip through their fingers it seems. Our boys are sitting pretty at number two on the logs and will certainly want to maintain their standings in this competition, even though the team will be without hooker Scarra Ntubeni – who has been ruled due to a calf strain in the match against the Cheetahs.

On the other end, the Lions have claimed the seventh spot on the log and will be hungry for glory (and more points!) when they descend upon Newlands Stadium this week. The team comes off a close 27-22 win over the Aussie Waratahs and will be riding high on that victory.

All in all, the match is expected to be a cracker of a game, so be sure to bring a group of mates to see all the rugga action.

Tickets are available online at Computicket.com, Computicket outlets and at the venue on the day. Entry ranges from between R80p/p and R140p/p depending on seating choice. Doors open at 4:30pm and kickoff is at 5:05pm
