Calling all deep house music fans: Make your way to Maragana Park in Langa on Saturday, 3 March 2018 for the epic Deep House Saturday party, set to really solidify the prominence of this music genre in the city.

Headline act Da Capo is the most anticipated set at this event, and is sure to delight the crowd with his own version of “beats and live entertainment” – the theme of the party. The internationally-acclaimed deep house sensation will be playing tunes from his new album. With this event being the official Cape Town stop on his Indigo Child album launch tour. There’s also a performance by the Cape Town-born king of drums, NV Funk, to look forward to. He will be integrating a live drum performance into his DJ set.

While Deep House Saturday is about sharing a love of deep house music, there is definitely some diversity in the mix too with gqom and trap genres to be heard. Local DJs and producers, including Sir Vincent, Sugar CPT, DJ George and Aux Gawd,to name a few will be spinning on the decks.
Besides the jam-packed lineup of performing artists, patrons can expect brand activations, a cocktail bar with customised drinks, local fashion designers displaying their goods for sale, as well as live coverage of the Soweto derby and EPL games on TV screens.
