The Mother City’s boys in white and red take on Durban’s Usuthu on the Day of Reconciliation
The Urban Warriors take on Durban’s AmaZulu in what promises to be a gripping ABSA Premiership battle at the Cape Town Stadium on Tuesday, 16 December 2014 (Day of Reconciliation). Kick-off is set for 7:30pm.
After a very strong start and a significant amount of time in the top two spots of the log, the Cape Town outfit has slipped a few places – they’re now fourth on the ranking – and are in desperate need of a win to separate themselves from the pack.
On the other end of the pitch, the bottom-of-the-log Durban side is currently in the relegation zone and likely grappling with their own internal confidence battle.
Regardless of their opponents poor performance though, the Cape Town squad needs to bring their A-game to find the back of the net as often as possible to boost their point difference and to keep themselves safely behind first place-holders, Kaizer Chiefs.
