David Guetta and Akon live concert this October in Cape Town

David Guetta and Akon are coming to perform live in Cape Town at Thunder City, Cape Town International Airport on the 14 October 2011.

David Guetta has been touted as a dance floor genius, and has over three million in album sales and an impressive 15 million plus in singles sold. Guetta will be joined by Hip hop superstar Akon.

Akon holds the record of being the first solo artist to hold the number 1 and 2 spot simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100 charts twice and has 6 Grammy nominations.

Supporting acts include two renowned US DJs who are consistently ranked amongst the Top 25 American DJs – Joe Bermudez and DJ Jenny LaFemme. 

In addition to the international stars live on stage, Jax Panik is also on the bill as the openers along with the rather talented DJ Dean Fuel and 5FM’s Poppy driving the stage action. 

Tickets are on sale through Computicket and R5 from every ticket sold will be donated to The Trust – which represents various charitable organizations in Southern Africa.
