Christmas Gala at Grand West Casino
Dana Winner, Steve Hofmeyr and Martin Lane together on stage in Cape Town
International diva Dana Winner and popular local singer, songwriter and actor, Steve Hofmeyr, will perform together on stage on the 16 December at GrandWest’s Grand Arena in Cape Town. Joining them in the Christmas Gala will be Martin Lane.
Winner, who toured South Africa earlier this year, is one of Belgium’s most popular exports and has 1.5 million copies of her albums circulating in the international CD market.
Dana’s flawless voice and the addition of Afrikaans songs to her repertoire have gained her a steadily growing local fan base. Fans can expect to hear her greatest hits interspersed with popular Christmas songs.
Steve Hofmeyr has long been a fixture on the South African music scene and is one of the country’s most successful artists. He first performed with Dana in 1997 in a duet You don’t bring me flowers, which featured on his album True to You.
The track went to number two on the Belgium charts and the pair thereafter performed to packed audiences in both countries. Here’s your chance to catch them both in Cape Town!
