The ABS Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees is one of South Africa's biggest and most diverse arts festivals
The emphasis of the KKNK programme lies on quality and inclusivity in the art forms for which the festival is best known, offering festival-goers a more focused and distinctive experience.
The programe centers on theatre and music, and on their interaction, as well as a strong offering of visual arts.
The outdoor character of the festival as a context for the arts is extended through various initiatives, the festival consolidates its position as a platform for international collaboration, and offers its strongest programme yet for young adult audiences.
The festival offers various genres of theatre–drama, music theatre and dance–a première experience in every sense of the word.
