Celebrate Women’s Day with the Totalsports Ladies Race
It’s that time of the year when thousands of women in both Stellenbosch and Johannesburg show solidarity and support on National Women’s Day by joining forces to take on the 2010 Totalsports Ladies Race!
According to Race Director Dezroy Poole, participants can look forward to a fun filled event. “The beauty of Stellenbosch definitely adds to the splendour of the Totalsports Ladies Race. Nothing beats the atmosphere experienced on the day.
Participants can expect a fast flat route, which means we’ll see some of our top runners trying to beat their personal best times. We trust that being part of this annual event will be a memorable occasion for all participants, runners and spectators alike,” says Poole.
Proceeds will go towards the JAG Foundation, an organisation focusing on education and sport development at grassroots. Athletes and spectators can look forward to a spirited performance by Idols Star Jody Williams.
