The Ellerman Music for Meals sessions are back

Have a fine dining experience from home and listen to live local talent

Thursday nights are for fine dining and live music, all from the comfort of your own kitchen. The Ellerman House Music for Meals Sessions brings you a weekly live cooking demo from award-winning chef Peter Tempelhoff, with live music to enjoy while you cook.

This week Dan Nicholl and Peter Tempelhoff will be joined by SAMA-nominated Majozi on 2 July at 8pm.

FINE-DINING AND LOCAL TALENT
Music for Meals is hosted by Dan Nicholl and Peter Tempelhoff. You can follow along as Tempelhoff leads you through one of his delicious dishes showing you a step-by-step demonstration, from picking out the ingredients to plating.

After cooking up a storm in the kitchen, settle in and enjoy live performances from a host of local musicians. Each week you’ll get to watch a brand new artist.

COOKING FOR A CAUSE
Anyone can donate towards helping the Ellerman House and FYN Restaurant’s teams prepare meals for needy communities. Peter Tempelhoff and Rudolph Heinrich Blaauw prepare over 250 meals a day for schools in Khayelitsha.

They’ve challenged the whole of South Africa to join the #100mealchallenge and donate meals to those in need. All donations are welcomed and can be done via Quicket.

DINNER AND A SHOW
The Ellerman House Music for Meals sessions is free for anyone who would like to join. Check out the live stream via the CapeTownMag Facebook page.
