We have been fans of the Blue Bird Garage Market for many years, and that’s why we are so excited to let you in on a little secret; their events are killer! This time around, on Saturday, 26 August 2017, the market will be overtaken with comedians from all over the city, all of which want to see a smile on your face.

Comedy at the Blue Bird will see some of Cape Town’s best comedians come together with some of the city’s most promising up-and-comers, so expect good beer, good laughs and a helluva good time. Stuart Taylor headlines the comedic set and you can expect to be entertained to the max.

Not only is he a local laughter favourite, Taylor has also performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland and the Berlin International Comedy Festival in Germany. The comedian is especially famous for fusing magic and comedy, leaving the audience amazed.

Don’t forget that the market is open on Fridays too when it presents stalls selling food, drinks and crafty type stuff. We LOVE their cannolis and their beer selection would have any hipster hot under the collar (which would presumably be buttoned all the way up, ‘cause that’s how they roll). Anyway, back to the market, they really have scoured the city to find only the best purveyors of delicious food and you will get the opportunity to sample some (or all, we don’t judge) under one roof. The Blue Bird is the place to be on a Friday in Muizenberg – and now it’s the place to be on Saturday, 26 August 2017 too! Go get your tickets for the comedy at the Blue Bird from the bar (as if you needed an excuse to visit the bar)!

Doors to the market (for the event) open at 6pm, with the show starting at 8pm sharp. Do not be late, or you risk being the butt of a comedian’s joke and that’s not an experience you will survive unscathed.

Tickets can be purchased from the bar at the Blue Bird Market (when it opens on Friday, between 4pm and 10pm) or you can visit the website Comedymarket.co.za and snatch your tickets from there! Either way, it will cost R100p/p.
