Loaded with edgy, relatable tales from local comedian, Angel Campey, the 11th edition of the Women’s Day Takeover takes place at Century City’s Conference Centre on Saturday, 3 August.

The day is about celebrating and acknowledging the strength and struggles of being a modern woman. Event organiser, Tatum Sieni says, “We aim to create an atmosphere of relaxation, fun and unity, ensuring all attendees go home feeling entertained, spoiled and appreciated.”

COME HUNGRY
With more than 37 years of experience, Executive Chef at the Century City Conference Centre, Abbas Abrahams, loves whipping up South African inspired three-course lunches for the Women’s Day event every year. The menu will be announced closer to the time.

SHOW ME THE GOODIE BAG
The contents of the goodie bag are secret but you can guess based on some of the sponsors for the day including Hendricks Gin, Lush, Style Studio, Lindt Chocolate, Century City Hotel, Life Day Spa, Warwick Wine and many more.

ATTENDING THE WOMEN’S DAY TAKEOVER
Tickets cost R395 and can be booked online. For more information, contact the organisers directly on info@centurycity.co.za or +27(0)21 552 6889. The event includes complimentary wine (yay, but bring your kids at your discretion). The event starts at 12:30pm, so arrive early to mingle and enjoy a welcome drink. For parking, follow the signs to the Conference Centre’s P2 Parking (parking tickets will be validated).
