Whether you’re a Hermanus resident or a foreigner to the small, but bustling, town, you’re bound to find some secondhand gems at this market day, happening on Sunday, 10 June from 10am to 2pm.

If you’ve never been to a car boot sale, this is your chance to experience community at its best. It’s the kind of thing that typically takes place in a parking lot or on an empty plot, where sellers come together and set up shop out of the boot of their car. These sales are often your best bet to find truly unique and personal antiques and ornaments.

All proceeds from this boot sale will go towards the OnVerWag neighbourhood watch and their efforts in ensuring the safety of the Onrus Vermont Community, just outside Hermanus.
If you’re keen to open up your boot for the community, spots cost R100 per boot. Call or email Michelle on +27 (0)76 617 8203 or mnheks@hotmail.com to book a spot.
The sale will be taking place on the empty plot between the Hire Centre and Aida on Van Blommestein Road in Onrus.
