Join Cape Town 12, a city-based sporting event, and PETCO, the South African PET Recycling Company, to do your bit in keeping the Cape clean at this fun walk. But more than just a leisurely stroll through the city, this walk is dedicated to cleaning up our city centre on Saturday, 19 May 2018, ahead of the Cape Town 12 One Run.

The Cape Town Clean Up hopes to educate residents across the city about the drastic impact littering in our communities has on the environment, while empowering the people of Cape Town to contribute to making a difference in a clean city. They’re aiming for a litter-free city, and to create awareness and the opportunity for the community and businesses to get involved in keeping Cape Town clean.

Hosted by PETCO, every person attending will receive recyclable bags and gloves donated by the company, for an easy clean up that’ll make the planet happy too.

If you’d like to join the walk for a cleaner city, you can sign up for the event online.
