Two best friends and a love for burgers: It’s Brash
Last updated: Tuesday, 17 September 2024
Two best friends and an unrelenting passion for making smashburgers with the care that they deserve. Combine all of this and you get Brash, a new hot and happening diner on Regent Road.

Brash has smashburgers and fries.
Brash started as two best friends with a dream and a food truck (they were known for their pop ups at Broke Klubhouse and The Electric); now, they have their very own diner.
The flagship store is at 90 Regent Road, where Johnny Shawarma used to be. Just look out for the giant red BRASH sign outside.
Inside it feels like an old-school diner, with red linoleum floors, retro serviette holders and lots of warm wood accents. It's a buzzy spot with neighbours like Jarryd’s and Bokeh Karaoke.

What is a smashburger? It’s when you place ground beef on a hot pan and, well, smash it. And the two guys behind Brash make it the right way. It’s just good ol’ beef, American-style sliced cheese, onions, pickles, mustard and ketchup, all on a brioche bun. Get it with a side of fries.
