Learn Six New Ways To Make Coffee

From pourover to siphon, plus a free coffee and 10% off anything you buy

Do you get brew-dy when you haven’t had your morning coffee? Do you need a stronger cup than most to perk you up? And are you tired of having to spend over R25 for a humble, good cup of coffee? You can make a great coffee, in your kitchen, without an espresso machine. Learn how at the Alternative Brewing Course hosted by Origin Roasters on Saturday 17 August 2019.

BEST BREW FOR YOU
Origin will teach you step by step, hands-on, how to use five different brewing methods to make the perfect coffee at home in a three-hour course. Along with demonstrations, a free coffee and 10% off all purchases on the day, you’ll master the basics of these five brewing techniques.

  • Coffee theory and history
  • Equipment introduction
  • Alternative brewing — French Press, Aeropress, Hario V60 Pourover, Mokapot and Siphon
  • Brewing basics
  • Hands-on alternative brewing

IF YOU GET HUNGRY...
Brewing hot coffee all morning might work up an appetite. Origin has a wide variety of breakfasts and lunch on their menu, so don’t be shy to try one of the bagels, vegan health breakfasts, eggs benedict or a decadent serving of French toast.

TICKETS TO THE ALTERNATIVE BREWING COURSE
The course can hold a maximum of 12 people and costs R650pp. Tickets can be purchased via Quicket
