Make your way to the Werf Food Garden for an immersive workshop experience, where you’ll learn the fundamentals of making your own compost on Saturday 4 August, 9am–4pm at Boschendal in Franschhoek.

With the help of agro-ecologist and manager of the Werf Food Garden Megan McCarthy and regenerative mixed farming practitioner Wendy Crawford you’ll learn the basics of how to create your own compost at home and stimulate and re-introduce beneficial soil microbes into your garden.

You’ll get companion plants, beneficial microbes and a light lunch with your booking, all for just R995/p. Vegetarian options are available, be sure to inform the Boschendal reservation team when making your booking.
