This summer Camps Bay’s renowned Café Caprice has teamed up with much-loved Winelands destination, Boschendal Wine Estate to offer the Mother City a luxurious, and somewhat infinite, Saturday affair titled Boschendal Bottomless Brunch.
The Bottomless Brunch Summer Series sees the weekly Saturday experience (starting from 11:30am), serve guests a bespoke two-course brunch – specifically designed by Café Caprice’s celebrated kitchen – perfectly paired with the Franschhoek winery’s superb Cap Classique range. Focusing on freshness and quality, the all-day exclusive brunch menu offers diners a selection of late morning and lunch options inspired by today’s health food trends.
For breakfast, bowls of almond milk soaked chia seed muesli with a cranberry compote, super-food red berry smoothies and homemade vanilla bean-infused flapjacks with a blueberry and crème fraîche drizzle are to be served. Whereas afternoon dishes may include grilled hake (with roasted beetroot quinoa and fresh green beans), grilled beef sirloin (with dreamy mushroom sauce) and spicy Asian sriracha honey chicken burger (with kewpie slaw), all paired with a medley of wholesome and fresh salads and vegetables.
Complemented by an endless source of Boschendal bubbly (at an additional cost of only R150) and accompanied by laid-back melodic house sets from local resident DJs from 3pm – and potentially some international guest acts – Café Caprice’s Boschendal Bottomless Brunch promises to be a lavish must-attend affair.
After all, what could go wrong when one combines wholesome fare, gorgeous bubblies and great company? Absolutely nothing!
