The Cape Farmhouse Restaurant is a family-run concern on route to the Cape Point Nature reserve.

Situated in a sheltered valley and surrounded by old oak trees, the 250-year-old farmhouse offers relaxing al fresco dining - or if the weather is unpleasant, indoors in the historic old farm building.

Starters Christmas Lunch:

* Smoked yellow fin tuna pate and field mushrooms in phyllo pastry with rocket, organic greens and herb aoli

* Parma ham and melon salad with preserved ginger

*Farmhouse Gazpacho

Main Course Christmas Lunch:

* Oven baked turkey breast with a walnut, bacon, feta and mushroom filling and cranberry coulis

or -

*Thinly sliced roast gammon with a pineapple, clove and honey glaze

(Both served with seasonal vegetables and sweet potato bake)

or -

* Spinach and ricotta cannelloni with a fresh tomato and basil sauce (Served with organic Farmhouse salad)

Desserts Christmas Lunch:

* Steamed Christmas pudding served with cinnamon ice cream

* Fresh fruit salad Pavlova with whipped cream and berry coulis aoli
