Cape Town are you ready for African Fashion International fashion week? Prepare for Africa’s greatest fashion giant's, between 21 and 24 March 2018. As per theme #IAmAfrica, Africa’s fashion icons will be out in numbers celebrating what could be one of Cape Town’s biggest fashion week’s.

“The global north has always been inspired by Africa. Following its recognition with the Franca Sozzani award in New York, AFI is uniquely positioned to propel African fashion onto the global stage,” says AFI Executive Chairman, Dr. Precious Moloi-Motsepe.

During fashion week, expect colours, art and design at various venues across the city, from the Salt River film studios to the Ritz Hotel. Cape Town natives like Imprint za, will be showcasing their latest range. As well as South Africa’s MaXhosa by Laduma, Gavin Rajah and Diane Paris to name a few. From Morocco to Ghana, Cape Town will be rich in fashion royalty and a range of vibrant new collections from all over Africa.

Spanned across the fashion week will be showcases, fashion shows, as well as talk sessions. African Fashion International will hold a masterclass discussion with experts in their respective fields will have demonstrations and show us the latest trends from MAC makeup and Wella hair products.

Tickets start at R250/p available at webtickets. No cash will be accepted at the venue, all payments will need electronic transactions.
