Spice up your yoga or pilates routine and add some dimension to your run-of-the-mill exercise regiment with an exhilarating exercise method that’s fun and effective. Head to The Source in Constantia to discover the aerial hammock in their Aerial Moves class. You can choose between two slots: 18 and 25 January from 9am to 1pm, or 19 and 26 January from 9am to 1pm.
AERIAL HAMMOCK? WHAT'S THAT?
The Aerial Moves class happening at this yoga and pilates studio relies mainly on the use of aerial hammocks. An aerial hammock is a single loop of fabric that hangs from the ceiling. You use it to create dramatic drops, poses and movements in the air by climbing it or wrapping the material around your body. It's a full-body workout that’s especially beneficial for your core.

IT'S FUN TO HANG FROM THE CEILING
The class is open to anyone wanting to learn something new, increase their skill or hoping to add another dimension to their workout regimen. The primary focus, however, is equipping certified yoga and pilates instructors with new, exciting moves to teach in their own classes.
Classes cost R2900 each (for two dates), and include the safe set-up and use of aerial hammocks, movements, class design and how to teach effectively (useful if you're a certified instructor).
Book your slot by contacting info@thesourcecapetown.co.za or calling +27 (0)21 794 2640.
Please note: Participating and completing the class does not certify you as a yoga or pilates instructor if you aren't already one.
