Even if you have plans this weekend, make sure you check out one of these fabulous markets that dot the city and surrounds this Saturday. There are so many markets on a Saturday that we had to spilt them into three parts.
Saturday markets in Cape Town's suburbs:
Millstone Eco-friendly Farm Stall and Cafe
Head to one of Cape Town's best kept secrets for homely food in a relaxed setting with tables and chairs made from reclaimed timber. Visit between 09:00 and 17:00 from Tuesday to Sunday to enjoy lazy breakfasts or lunches, vegetables delivered via horse and cart and homemade preserves and jams.

Constantia Craft Market
Set in environmental parkland in the heart of Constantia; this elite market offers goods which echo the beauty of the African continent. Visit during the first and last weekend of every month for 100 small shops selling individual work. The market has credit card, refreshment, wheelchair and restroom facilities, with parking next door.

Kirstenbosch Craft Market
Join 190 crafters offering a variety of hand crafted goods, refreshments and even pony rides. Visit between 09:00 and 13:00 on the last Sunday of every month, from January to May, from September to November and the second and third Saturday of every month during December for gifts, curios, clothing and home ware. Why not take a stroll through Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens afterwards?

Rondebosch Craft Market
Spend a leisurely Saturday morning browsing stalls at one of Cape Town's longest existing markets, set under stunning trees. Visit between 09:00 and 14:00 on the second Sunday of every month for homemade goods, craft stalls and a decent selection of eats including breakfast options.

Porter Estate Produce Market
Set in the beautiful Tokai Forest this family-friendly outdoor market offers fresh produce, farm-style breakfasts and children's activities. Visit this unique farm-style market between 09:00 and 13:00 every Saturday (weather permitting) for homemade olives, children's toys made from natural material or healthy breakfasts made with traditional 'moer koffie'. Admission is just R5 and sufficient parking is available.

Rondebosch Village Market with Organic Farm Produce
Arrive early for the best of organic, biodynamic, fresh produce from Peter and Stephen's stall or jams, pickles, cheeses and other dairy products from Dee's stall at this delightful weekly market. Visit between 07:30 and 12:00 every Saturday outside Rondebosch Library and you'll also find massages, Mike selling DVD's, John-Peter selling recycled books, soaps, Jenny's photo gallery and Cathy's catering and muffins.

Earth Fair Food
This market transports you back to the good old days when food was simple and healthy. Visit between 15:00 and 20:00 every Wednesday and between 09:00 and 14:00 every Saturday for meat, fish, bread, cheese, fresh vegetables, olive oil, pasta and sweet treats. There's also plenty of parking.

Willowbridge Slow Market
Open between 09:00 and 15:00 every Saturday this market is all about experiencing traditional and regional food products in a modern context. Sample natural, organic, Slow Food from the surrounding areas; all grown with no warehousing or distribution which ensures quality produce.

Milnerton Flea Market
Visit an excellent junk and second-hand flea market where you can find t-shirts, car parts, computers, Tupperware, telephones, exercise machines, kitchen sets, CD's, pancakes and ginger beer. The market with everything is open between 07:00 and 16:00 on Saturday and Sunday.
