Dizzys Beer Pong and DJ Sundays Competition

Are you Cape Town’s next beer pong champ?

Come along to beer pong, where the cups are out and the beer is cold (Dizzys has an extensive local craft beer range so choices abound for your favourite pint). The ‘pong’ is not the only thing on the menu. The pub’s Beer Pong and DJ Sundays are a winning combination of competitive 'insbeerational' fun and beats for everyone.

Currently part of an eight-week-long bid to locate the best beer pongers in the city, the recurring competition is ideal for anyone looking to make new friends, bond with old mates, and win prizes in the process. The competition started on Sunday, 5 March, so it’s already well underway, but there’s still time left to play (up until 23 April that is!). Beer pong begins at 10pm, and the DJ starts spinning top tunes from 8pm.

Entry costs R80 per team of two, and includes participation in the pong – and obviously a fair amount of beer! Weekly winners go through to the final and are rewarded with a bar tab, cash prize and fist bumps. The competition winning team gets the prestigious title of being Dizzys’ pong champions, with hip hoodies, Dizzys vouchers and a case of Stellenbrau beer up for grabs. Your aim will undoubtedly be improved by the drinks specials on offer, and, if you have a voucher from Dizzys’ Tight Ass Tuesday, you get a free shooter too.

If you’re having a great time (which you will be), prolong your evening by breaking it down to Dizzy’s dope DJ. A few beers in, and your hips with get going and your level-Diddy dance moves will be showing so keep the drinks flowing, and indulge in a pizza or two for extra fuel.
