The Whisky Live Festival has a reputation for being the largest, liveliest and most exciting whisky tasting lifestyle show of its kind in Africa - and now they’re adding gin. The premier spirits event is back on the Cape Town calendar to showcase some of the world’s finest single malts and blends from 2-4 May 2019 at The Lookout in Granger Bay.
WHISKY GALORE
Following sold-out events in previous years, this year’s sip ‘n swirl shindig is set to be as popular. Attendees can look forward to over 150 exhibitors showcasing their own golden nectar, with multiple luxury brands displaying their wares. Think Bunnahabhain, Ardbeg, Glenmorangie, Bruichladdich, Aberfeldy and more.
LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL GIN
Lauded by critics for making whisky ‘exciting, fun, sexy and youthful’, this intimate affair is as ideal for novices starting to delve into the finer things in life as it is for seasoned connoisseurs who haven’t gone a day without a dram in years.
What’s more, this year's edition will include both local and international gins for those who aren’t too keen on whisky.
