Bring the family along for a weekend vineyard walk and soak up a view that has it all. In one idle glance take in the mountain, the fynbos, the vineyards and the Atlantic ocean at the Cape Point Vineyards.
WEEKEND VINEYARD WALKS
For your next weekend adventure take a slow drive out to the sleepy town of Noordhoek and wander through the Cape Point Vineyards. It's an easy route to walk, so bring the kids along. You could even enjoy a post-walk picnic lunch.
The vineyard walking trail is free to enjoy and open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays. To comply with Covid-19 regulations, only 50 people are allowed in at a time (and unfortunately no dogs). You can book your slot on the Cape Point Vineyards website.
A PICNIC WITH A VIEW
The estate sells a delicious array of picnic items from their wine shop, which you can enjoy on their lawns after your walk. The picnic baskets include freshly baked ciabatta with homemade spreads, and local flavours like bobotie wraps and Cape Malay chicken salad. For dessert, there are brownies.
Note: The estate is currently selling wine only between Monday and Thursday, as per government Covid-19 rules.

Cape Point Vineyards is just one of the many wine farms delivering alcohol.
Wandering through an award-winning vineyard could just be one of the many things to do this weekend.
Have you ever had a coffee and a gourmet bagel in a Secret Forest Café?
