Madame Zingara’s one stop party shop

Kloof Street will never be the same. The exterior of its latest shop is complete with little red mailboxes, but as the name says: this is not a post office.

Madame Zingara’s first retail store  is a one-stop party shop. This unique store is best described as stepping through Alice’s looking glass into a wild and wacky Aladdin’s cave filled with everything from rubber chickens to fancy dress and fluffy handcuffs.

“Creativity is at the heart of everything we do at Madame Zingara,” says founder and managing director Richard Griffin. The dynamic retail space even includes live art installations. “We wanted to create a space where people can have fun,” adds Richard. “Where the unimaginable; becomes a reality.”

Sensory overload hits the minute you step through the door. Mini disco balls hang from the roof while giant lollipops and blow up sheep are scattered throughout the room, all of this combines to make this party shop stand out from the usual balloons and streamers.

There’s a creative team on hand that will help add a bit of the Madame Zingara magic to parties and corporate events. “We’ll assist with everything needed for a celebration, from décor and props to exciting goodie bags as well as performers or characters that are guaranteed to inject fire into any gathering - no matter how big or small,” promises Griffin.
