Want to spend an evening laughing your head off? And do you like theater and specifically theater sports? In that case you shouldn't miss the shows of Improvision, Cape Town's one and only Theatre sport group.

To those of you who are not familiar with theatre sports: Theatre sports is a  specific genre of improvised theatre that is entertaining, hilarious, super-fun, interactive and not to forget a great way to forget about whatever is bothering you.

Theatre sports is completely improvised and the scenes and content are made up on the spot by the actors. Scripts are nonexistent. However, there is a structure in the form of a competition between the different teams of actors, with games to contain the show and make it satisfying to watch. Who the judges are? That is you, the audience! Everyone in the audience is given brightly coloured score-cards, to rate each scene.

The audience is involved in other ways as well, as you are encouraged to shout out ideas for locations, styles, objects, occupations and many other "ask-fors". These are used on the spot. This can end up in hilarious creations.
