Knysna, but not the Knysna you think
Locals help us uncover the hidden treasures of this Garden Route gem
Cape Town’s longest running live show, TheatreSports, performs spontaneous comedy at the Kalk Bay Theatre, every Tuesday at 8:30pm.
Similar to popular TV show, “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”, a TheatreSports emcee hosts the improve session, during which two teams are pitted against each other to perform a string of short performances based on audience suggestions. After some creative scoring from three audience judges, one team is declared the ultimate winner.
“TheatreSports has become a popular way to celebrate birthdays, a fun evening of teambuilding and after hours office entertainment, a must do for back-packers, families, school outings and even just regular folk who want to laugh and be amazed on Monday and Tuesday nights.”
Whatever the occasion, there’s nothing like some spur of the moment comedic brilliance (or quite like someone making a fool of themselves on stage), to take away the Monday blues.
Kalk Bay Theatre is offering a ridiculous special of a burger and a show for only R100p/p to take dull Tuesdays and turn them upside down.
