This Event is South Africa's biggest and funniest comedy festival, featuring the world's leading stand-up comedians alongside South Africa's best.

Cape Town is a rare gem in the light of stand up comedy. Surely (cliche, but true) the cultural diversity and history are to praise for having created Kurt Schoonraad, Marc Lottering, Mark Sampson and living legend Cokey Falkow.

The Cape Town International Comedy Festival is Africa's best comedy festival and will consist of 21 international & 12 local Comedy performers.

Cape Town: 5 shows, 5 venues & South Africa's 1st Street Comedy Festival. Main Arena a perfect blend of local & international stand-up comedy, featuring top-notch acts from all four corners of the globe. Queercom, the funniest gay comedians from around the world, brought together for the celebration of creativity & camp. This production will be staged at the V&A Waterfront in the BMW Pavilion Theatre. Best of the Festival Exactly what it means! The best comedians of the Festival, performing together in a Gala performance each Sunday hosted by one of SA comedy Icons.

The Very Late Show hosted by Cokey Falkow, this weekend only comedy rollercoaster will feature local & international acts trying out new, topical & material probably best suited to a late night show. Street Comedy Festival in collaboration with the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal, CICF will host SA's first street comedy festival featuring the best European & US street comedians.
