Stuart Taylor’s Learner Husband Comedy Show
SA’s much-loved comedic genius and relationship guru kicks off his book launch with a nationwide stand-up tour
A man who needs little introduction, Stuart Taylor, is set to take his incredibly popular (and alarmingly accurate) Learner Husband comedy show on tour to celebrate the launch of his much-anticipated book of the same name. The hysterical performance runs for a limited period at Cape Town’s Baxter Theatre from Tuesday, 2 to Saturday, 6 July 2013.
After delighting fans with the critically acclaimed show for several years, the favourite funnyman finally heeded requests for a paperback version and has penned the ultimate man’s manual, a definitive guide for confused husbands. Now, he is marking the release of the self-help bible with a nationwide tour of the act.
With the 90-minute performance, the king of relationship comedy, who teamed up with director Heinrich Reisenhofer, gives countless boyfriends, fiancés and husbands essential lessons in love. Based on the principles of driving, the show and book employ a four-step programme that offers guys key tips to avoid fender benders with their better half.
Cape Times had the following to say about the show: “Learner Husband is like that chilling moment when you are reading your horoscope and you discover it’s spot on!”
So, men, whether you’re married, engaged, thinking of taking the leap into marital bliss or just looking to reaffirm your singledom, don’t miss out on this step-by-step course on how to navigate relationships.
And ladies, make sure your man is roadworthy and drag him to this side-splitting act to prepare him for all that’s to come.
